TRPR is entering its 23rd consecutive year of representing the Miller Brewing Company during the 2006 NASCAR Nextel Cup racing season. The Miller-TRPR connection rates...by far...as the longest standing major team sponsor and agency relationship in NASCAR racing. Entering the 2006 season, TRPR has served as Miller's motorsports agency of record for 591 races.

MILLER BREWING RATES AS NASCAR WINSTON CUP'S LONGEST-RUNNING MAJOR CAR SPONSOR

When Petty Enterprises' long-time car sponsor (STP) was replaced (by General Mills) at the mid-point in the 2000 NASCAR Winston Cup season, Miller Brewing Company gained the distinction of being the longest-running major car and team sponsor in the sport.

Miller's major sponsorship dates back to before the first event of the 1983 season. Through its Miller High Life brand, the company backed driver Bobby Allison and the DiGard Racing Team during the 1983 season which produced six wins, 18 top-five finishes, 25 top-10 finishes and the NASCAR Winston Cup points title.

Six different drivers have piloted Miller-sponsored race cars in NASCAR Winston Cup races. Bobby Allison, Greg Sacks, Bobby Hillin, Mike Alexander, Dick Trickle and Rusty Wallace have all been in the driver's seat of Miller-backed racers.

Racing superstar Rusty Wallace is entering his 15th consecutive season with Miller's major backing and will again be carrying the Miller Lite brand sponsorship on his fleet of Penske Racing South Dodges during the 2004 season.
